Root Cause Analysis the Basics
  • What is Root Cause Analysis? (RCA)
  • Why use Root Cause Analysis?
  • When to use Root Cause Analysis?
  • Who should be doing a Root Cause Analysis?

If you are a Preventative Controls Qualified Individual you are required to complete or have a Qualified Individual complete a Root Cause Analysis every time there is an out of specification food safety issue. If you are a GFSI compliant plant you are required as the qualified individual to complete a Root Cause Analysis every time there are significant issues with food safety at your plant. In general you need to know and understand Root Cause Analysis.

This class will give you the basics to understand what it is and where to go with it. If at the end of this session, there are enough participants and who have interest in attending a full 2 days class, then FIBR will move forward with scheduling.
