LATTC FIBR Advisory Committee
Los Angeles Trade-Tech College with the oldest culinary arts program in the nation and is training the future generation of the food industry. We Chose Los Angeles Trade-Tech to be our partner because of they are our neighbor (literally), their program’s reputation is outstanding, and as a community college, LATTC has a focus on training the industry’s workforce.
The FIBR LATTC Advisory Committee serves as advisors to the faculty at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College's Culinary Arts and Professional Baking Programs. The Committee provides guidance and feedback about existing and future curriculum to better prepare the food processing industry's workforce. Several Certificate programs have resulted from advisory committee suggestions.
Further, the committee participates in an annual survey around workforce expectations, discusses state budget/department budget issues, student enrollment and demographics, updates on plans for a new Culinary Arts Building and much more.
